Frigo is continuous monitoring for critical spaces: wireless sensors measure your fridges, cold rooms, server rooms, and storage areas around the clock, and the Frigo platform alerts the right people the moment something drifts — while keeping a complete, audit-ready record. Frigo is built and operated by AMCO Trade & Finance AG in Zug, Switzerland.
Any space where conditions carry real risk: fridges and freezers, cold rooms, medication storage, server and technical rooms, kitchens, archives and basements (humidity), and temperature-sensitive transport. One platform covers all of them, across any number of sites.
Yes. Frigo works just as well for a chest freezer in the basement, a wine cellar, or a holiday home as it does for a professional kitchen. You order the same way, and statutory consumer rights apply to private customers.
Frigo is currently available across Europe, Australia, and Canada, with new markets added continuously. Prices are shown in EUR or CHF depending on where you are.
Frigo is engineered in Switzerland and operated by AMCO Trade & Finance AG, Bahnhofstrasse 23, 6300 Zug. Support comes from the team that builds Frigo — when you write to us, your question lands with the people who make the product.
Every sensor measures temperature and humidity as standard. Where it adds value, we also activate light and open/close contact — for example to detect a fridge door left open. We deliberately activate only what's useful per space, which is one reason the batteries last for years.
Most sensors are live in under five minutes each: peel, stick, done — no drilling, no cabling, no technician. Each sensor carries a QR code, so naming it and setting its limits happens right at registration. Plug in the gateway, and readings appear in the app the same day.
Yes, one per site. It plugs into a power socket and collects readings from every sensor in range over its own long-range LoRaWAN network — your WiFi stays out of it, because the gateway brings its own mobile connection. Larger or demanding buildings may need additional gateways after a coverage check. The gateway is billed monthly; see pricing.
Seven years and more under typical conditions. The battery status of every sensor is always visible in the platform, and replacement is covered by your subscription — you never buy hardware.
Frigo notices. A device that goes silent — battery, power cut, connectivity — is flagged as inactive in the platform, so a gap in your data never goes undetected.
Everyone you've nominated is notified at once — with the space, the reading, and the time. You decide per space who those people are. The event stays on record, including when conditions returned to normal.
In-app and email alerts are included in every plan; SMS is available as an add-on.
Frigo AI automatically reviews each space's readings and alarms and sends a plain-language report: average conditions, fluctuations, how long any alarms lasted, and what to keep an eye on — a summary you can read in thirty seconds instead of a chart you have to interpret. Each report carries a severity grade — from normal to critical — so you can scan twenty spaces in a minute and know exactly which one needs you. Reports are written in your language.
No — the weekly Frigo AI report is included in every plan, for every sensor. Additional AI reports can be topped up with Frigo AI tokens if you want more.
Every plan includes an automatic monthly PDF report per device plus the weekly Frigo AI note. If you want reports more often — weekly, for example — you can add extra automated reports as a small per-device add-on. Everything also exports on demand with one click.
Frigo supports your HACCP self-monitoring: temperature logs are recorded automatically, every record is complete and time-stamped, and audit-ready reports export as PDFs — the answer to an audit is one export, not a week of paperwork. How the records fit into your control plan depends on your operation and local requirements. Pest monitoring (connected traps) is available on request for food businesses.
Yes — medication fridges and storage rooms are one of Frigo's core uses. Readings are continuous, alerts are immediate, and every record is complete and time-stamped, across one branch or fifty.

Yes — there is nothing to purchase. Sensors are included in the per-device subscription, and replacement is covered. The gateway (one per site) is billed as its own monthly item. Everything stays part of one predictable monthly cost.
Tell us what you operate — two sentences are enough. We map your spaces, recommend the right sensors and gateways, and send you the complete monthly price in writing. When you confirm, your hardware ships and you're monitoring within days.
Selected plans offer an optional 14-day evaluation period: you order as usual, receive your devices, and evaluate Frigo in your own operation. If you don't cancel before the evaluation ends, your subscription starts automatically. If you cancel during the evaluation, a cancellation charge reflecting hardware, connectivity and onboarding may apply — it is calculated and shown to you before you confirm the cancellation. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected; details in our Terms.
After the minimum term, subscriptions renew automatically for successive 12-month periods. You can prevent renewal with 30 days' notice before the end of the current term. Details in our Terms.
Yes. Start with a single site — even a single fridge — and expand the same workspace across additional spaces and locations whenever you're ready. Every site, sensor, and alert lives in one shared workspace, with users and roles per team, on web, iOS, and Android. You manage your plan and billing yourself, directly in the app.
Additional app users, API access (to connect Frigo data to your own software), additional assets (organise sensors by site, vehicle, floor or zone), extra automated reports, extra storage, SMS alerts, and Frigo AI tokens for additional AI reports. Pest monitoring with connected traps is available on request. All add-ons bill monthly and end with your plan.
