Logistics & warehousing

From the loading dock to delivery. Proof in motion.

Temperature-sensitive goods don't stand still: they're stored, picked, loaded and driven to your customer. Frigo tracks temperature and humidity at every stage — in the warehouse and on the road, for cold and warm chains alike — alerts the people you choose the moment a reading leaves its range, and keeps a time-stamped record you can hand to your customer.

01 — Where it breaks

Rarely in the cold store. Usually in between.

Cold stores are built to hold temperature. The risk sits in the gaps: doors left open during loading, pallets waiting on the dock, a truck stuck in traffic, an ambient hall heating up in summer.

Temperature + door contact

Dock doors

The same strip can report door contact. On a dock, you see every opening, how long it lasted and what it did to the temperature.

e.g. 2–8 °C · below −18 °C

Cold & freezer stores

Continuous readings and an alert when a store drifts — day, night and weekend, not only when someone walks past.

Warm chain · e.g. 15–25 °C

Ambient & warm chain

Not everything ships cold: many goods must stay at 15–25 °C and dry. Temperature and humidity, tracked zone by zone.

In motion

On the road

Trucks and transport units are monitored in motion, with their own limits — so the record doesn't stop when the doors close.

02 — Doors

An open door is a temperature problem.

The same strip that measures temperature can also report door contact. On a loading dock, that's exactly where it makes sense: every opening, how long it lasted, and what it did to the temperature — side by side.

Short openings barely register. The long one during a busy afternoon load is the one that pushes the dock out of range — and that's when the people you chose get the alert.

03 — The record

Every site, every truck. One record.

Sensors are grouped by site, building, zone and vehicle, so a dock in Basel sits next to an ambient hall in Zurich and a truck on the road. Frigo stores every reading and records every excursion with its start, end and duration — a time-stamped record from dock to delivery, ready when a customer asks what happened.

A monthly report per device is included; more frequent reports can be added. Frigo AI writes a short plain-language summary. If you want the data in your own systems, the API add-on connects them.

04 — Getting started

Installed this week. Monitored this week.

1

Stick on the sensors

One per cold store, dock, warehouse zone or vehicle. Stick it on — no cabling, no interruption to operations.

2

Plug in connectivity

At least one unit per site, into a normal socket — larger halls may need more. Vehicles get their own connectivity. Nothing touches your warehouse network.

3

Set limits and recipients

Scan the QR code, name the zone, set its limits — 2–8 °C for a chilled dock, for example — and choose who gets notified: shift lead, quality, or both. Readings and records start the same day.

Every new setup starts with a 14-day evaluation period.

Tell us about your chain.

Which sites and zones, how many dock doors, how many vehicles — cold chain, warm chain or both. That's all we need to suggest a setup that fits.
